WHY?
I chose this topic and decided to make a story out of it instead of just talking about what "reach out and click" means. I feel that nowadays people are consumed by what's online and just when you think you have control, it takes over your life. Face down and locked on your smart phones seems to be normal now instead of seeing the world around you. Victor is addicted to shopping online and browsing the web so much that he the consumer, becomes the consumed. As you can tell, this is not my real voice :). My boyfriend and I decided to have some fun with the video. Hope you enjoy!

Consumer Consumed
There once was a lad,
Named Victor McGumble.
More often than most,
Online he would stumble.
Every free moment,
Victor went online to shop.
Eyes glued to the screen,
Click click click, he wouldn’t stop.
The world around faded to nothing,
As he walked to class in the bright sun shine.
Victor consumed until his eyes grew heavy;
The clock ticked midnight...sleep time.
Swallowed whole by the digital realm,
Victor was lost in online portability.
The consumer quickly became the consumed,
Blinded by the sea of availability.
